She conveyed a whole range of emotions – from motherly amusement to desperation to resentment – all the while singing beautifully…” ---Press & Sun Bulletin, Binghamton, NY "Rachel von Hindman sang the Lady with her full dramatic soprano voice..." ---Opernnetz.de Rachel von Hindman, soprano, was most recently seen as Lady Macbeth with the Berlin International Opera, where she recently sang the Countess Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. In Hamburg, Rachel appeared as Zerbine in Die Magd als Herrin. Prior to that, she performed die Königin der Nacht (die Zauberflöte) and Nella (Gianni Schicchi) in Binghamton, NY. With the Tri-Cities Opera, she sang the Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors and Gertrude in Hänsel und Gretel. Other roles include Gianetta in The Gondoliers with the Binghamton Summer Savoyards and Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario at Jacksonville University. Rachel has also sung in numerous recitals, oratorios and concerts. Most recently, she appeared at the Schwartzche Villa in Berlin in the Songs of the World concert. Before that, she performed Brahms' Ein Deutches Requiem with the Binghamton University Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and the Fauré Requiem with the West Chester University Chamber Ensemble and Chorale. Rachel currently resides in Berlin.
